First Coast Sign Language Interpreting, LLC is a double minority owned Agency based out of Jacksonville, Florida. Our interpreting services include onsite, Over-the-Phone (OTP), Video Remote Interpreting (VRI) and document translation to a variety of businesses across all industries.

Our Agency is based on the belief that the need of our clients is of the utmost importance. Each member of our staff and every interpreter endeavor to exceed your expectations to achieve optimum satisfaction for your company and clientele. As a result, a high percentage of our business is from repeat customers and referrals. E. 'Tracey' Davis

Founder and Agency Owner/Certified ASL Interpreter
Ms. Davis began interpreting in 1979 and became a nationally certified in 1988. She holds two certifications: a (CI) from the Registry of Interpreters of the Deaf (RID) and also the National Association of the Deaf (NAD) IV. Tracey was selected twice as a presenter for the Florida Chapter of RID Conferences, in addition to being chosen as a presenter for RID. Tracey has served as an ASL instructor in both private and public schools. She has over 40 years of extensive experience that spans conference, medical, legal, and artistic performance interpreting. She was selected as the interpreter for a speaking engagement for Oprah Winfrey.

Tracey is our resident subject matter expert on the American with Disabilities Act (ADA) as it pertains to the rights of the deaf.

Tracey has a genuine love for the deaf and Deaf culture. She is extremely passionate about the quality of interpreting services her agency provides.

Michelle M. Wilson

Director of Operations
Mrs. Wilson, who has over 35 years of customer service experience, has worked with the agency since its beginning. She is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operation of the Agency.

Michelle maintains the service quality of all the interpreters by assisting in their orientation, training, and workshops in addition to being accessible to them for support and feedback. To ensure client satisfaction, Michelle is always personally available to clients and works tirelessly on their behalf. Both clients and interpreters alike consider Michelle to be the heart of the Agency.

Michelle constantly endeavors to seek new opportunities that will increase the Agency’s client base and generate new revenue by participating in community events, expos, and trade shows.

Lynn C. Solomon

Accounting Director
Ms. Solomon has 40 years of administrative experience and over 20 years in the financial and banking industry. Lynn has also been with the agency since its beginning. She manages and oversees the back office with account payable and receivables, and maintains the general ledger.

Lynn works to resolve billing inquiries and administers timely payroll disbursement through ADP. She ensures the Agency remains in operational compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulations.

Lynn is vigilant in finding ways to streamline operating costs to optimize the financial stability of the Agency. She seeks ways to make our Agency stand out by introducing unique events such as Interpreter Appreciation Day and overseeing the marketing and promotion for the Agency.

Roderick R. Wilson

Operations Assistant
Mr. Wilson joined our staff in 2019. He handles our PBX phone system and assists in communications with staff and interpreters. He provides appointment reminders and serves as a point of contact fo clients. Roderick reviews all submitted interpreter phone reports for accuracy and documents them into agency files.

Roderick maintains staff work stations and excels in providing trouble shooting/technical support for the Agency’s IT needs.

Roderick serves as a host to ensure the organization and success of orientations, meetings, and company events throughout the year.

Christelle Leblanc

Operations Coordinator
Ms. Leblanc joined our team originally as an Haitian Creole interpreter in 2018. With her professional interpreting experience and medical field background, she joined our staff in 2019.

Christelle handles client requests for services and schedules interpreters utilizing our online booking system. She is the main point of contact for the agency.

Christelle works with the Accounting Director to ensure the accuracy of invoices for billing, account receivables, and interpreter payroll. She also assists the Director of Operations as a liaison for both clients and interpreters on assignment.

First Coast Sign Language Interpreting, LLC began in 2007 as an exclusive ASL provider.  In response to the continual growth of our client base along with the diversity of their language service needs, our agency began Spoken Language interpreting and Document Translation services. 

Nationwide we provide communication solutions to a wide variety of markets including corporations, independent businesses, and non-profit organizations. Our Agency has also worked with sports teams, medical clinics and virtual business models. 

We now offer classes to learn Conversational ASL, English, and Spanish on a virtual platform.
